A User Acceptance Testing event for physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives was held on September 29 and 30. The event was well attended with over 20 ordering providers from multiple disciplines in attendance. This event was the first in a series of User Acceptance Events that will be occurring as we prepare for the first Activation of IHealth.
User Acceptance Testing is an opportunity to bring together interdisciplinary stakeholders from across Island Health to actively test the IHealth system. This includes testing high-level workflows between providers, detecting potential gaps to be addressed, and identifying needs for education related to the system. As a part of this testing event, people’s reactions and feedback are captured as they see and use the system for the first time.
In this video, Dr. Mary Lyn Fyfe shares more about this first session of User Acceptance Testing. You will also hear from Dr. Brian Berry about his experience of this event.
