Ambulatory and Renal Care

What's Changing?

Advanced Cerner electronic health record capability is coming to ambulatory care. This IHealth activation will focus on:

  • Standardization of registration and scheduling within Cerner
  • Implementation of computerized provider order entry (CPOE) and bar-coded medication administration
  • Implementation of electronic clinical and provider documentation
  • Implementation of electronic ordering to document Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment (MOST).

The planned changes support the completeness of the patient chart in Cerner and will enable teams caring for patients in different centres to see important documentation related to their care.
